East Jakarta to Develop Eight Channels Soon

The East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has put aside a budget of Rp 15 billion to develop water channels in eight locations at the end of this May. The total length of the channel to be built is around 4,589 kilometers.
It is targeted to be complete in two and a half to three months

There were also Jalan SMPN 126 (Tengah Urban Village) until Jalan Inerbang along 473 meters, Laut Sulawesi connecting channel (Duren Sawit) from Jalan Laut Samudra to Jalan Selat Sunda 3 along 311 meters, Laut Sulawesi connecting channel (Duren Sawit), from Jalan Selat Sunda 3 to Jalan Laut Banda along 506 meters.
He mentioned the development of the water channel and its accessories was done through the e-Catalog Purchasing system. Each channel would have U-Ditch with a dimention of 60x60 centimeters and 200x200 centimeters including installation of a box culvert.
"It is targeted to be complete in two and a half to three months. Hopefully it is able to overcome flooding in the region," he hoped.
